... I can't recall. Who is Akito?

Akito-san is the head of the Sohma family house. He's also, mmm.... an important part of the curse. He's very important to all of them, their... "God", you could say.

[unaffective]

- Ah, yes. I've heard of him, somewhat...

[marezydoats]

Well, Akito-san, he... He doesn't really like any of the people who are cursed to have relationships without his approval. Especially since he's the head of the household... Hatsuharu-san and Isuzu-san, they were dating in secret, without Akito-san's permission.

It isn't as if he's their father.

[marezydoats]

It would be easier if he were their father... It's not easy to disobey someone who is "God."

What control does this man possess over them, in more specific terms? Would you know?

[ Tohru shakes her head. ] I... I only know a little. I don't think it's something I can fully understand as an outsider. [ She looks at her hands. ] But I know that when he's in the room, he takes up all of their attention. It's like the whole room falls away, and none of them notice the world around them. And at least the younger ones are terrified of him.

Absurd? Do you think so? [ She doesn't sound like she's judging Elaine. ] For them, there's nothing less absurd. Nothing more serious.

Whether he is or is not their family's head, he is only a human man. If so many of them fear him - then he lacks the sufficient qualifications to lead them.

He's also "God." He is as much a part of the bond as they are.

So I've heard. The curse effects him just as well, but to what extent? That they could be so cowed by a single human is absurd.

If your God was violent and unstable, wouldn't you be scared, too?

[unaffective]

My god is not a human man. This Akito was born from a human and grew as humans do and is a victim of the same curse as his fellow humans - he does exhibit some degree of control over this family, yes, but he is nothing more than a human and is undeserving of treatment contrary to that belief, if he is incapable of conducting himself appropriately.

I'll go to see him once I've left this place. Are you familiar with their home?

It's easy to say that when you're looking on the outside, isn't it? [ Tohru sighs, but then she nods. ] Yes, I'm familiar with their home. I've been to the Main House a few times.

[marezydoats]

Oh! I— I can't go there, I'm waiting for Isuzu-san. But if you go through the other door... The Main House is over there.
